Following a third-period collapse in Friday’s loss to Colorado which saw the Jets allow five unanswered goals, they’ve opted to make a roster move.
The Winnipeg Jets have activated center Mark Scheifele off injured reserve, the club announced Tuesday afternoon. Scheifele, 30, has 14 goals and 41 points in 41 games with the Jets this season.

Axel Jonsson-Fjallby wasn’t allowed to be in limbo very long. After the Washington Capitals placed the young winger on waivers Sunday night, the Buffalo Sabres scooped him up before he could be assigned to the Capitals’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Hershey Bears.
