ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic continue to be active in reshuffling their Exhibit 10 contracts as the regular season approaches. The team announced it signed free agent guard Alex Morales on Wednesday, waiving center Robert Baker II in a corresponding move.
The Magic have waived guard Alex Morales one day after signing him to an Exhibit 10 contract, per Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel. Morales is expected to return to the Magic’s G League affiliate, now located in Osceola.
The Magic have waived shooting guard Alex Morales and signed shooting guard Drake Jeffries, the team announced in a press release. Morales, 24, is 6-foot-6 and went undrafted out of Wagner after being named NEC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
The No. 1 seed Bryant Bulldogs (22-9, 15-2 NEC) square off against the No. 2 Wagner Seahawks (22-5, 13-3 NEC) in the championship game of the NEC tournament on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
