Steven Kwan helped keep his Cleveland Guardians in Game 2 of their ALDS with the Detroit Tigers on Monday thanks to an awesome catch.

Wenceel Perez was batting for the Tigers in the top of the eighth inning against Guardians reliever Emmanuel Clase. Detroit had runners on first and second with two outs in a scoreless game at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.

Perez sent a 1-2 pitch into the left-center gap that looked like it would fall to drive in the first run of the game. But Kwan came flying in and made a diving catch.

The Tigers challenged the out call and asked the umpires to review whether the ball had bounced. The call on the field was confirmed, which meant the end of the inning and kept the game scoreless.

That was a major catch for Kwan, who came up with a big play in a huge spot.
