Terry Bradshaw picks his fighter for Steelers QB competition

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a quarterback decision to make for Sunday, but Terry Bradshaw thinks they should stick with what has worked so far.

The Steelers legend told TMZ Sports that he believes the team should continue to run out Justin Fields after a 4-2 start, even though Russell Wilson is now fully healthy.

“I’m gonna stay with Fields,” Bradshaw said. “I think he’s played really good. He’s such a great athlete, he can throw, and I think he just fits the team he has right now. … He’s played well enough to keep the job, in my opinion.”

The Steelers are 4-2 and well-positioned in the AFC North, but acquired Wilson with the intention of starting him. And it certainly appears that they plan to do so for Week 7 against the New York Jets.

Fields has completed 66.3% of his passes for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns and just one interception in six games this season. He has 231 rushing yards and another five scores on the ground, too. Though the former Chicago Bears quarterback has avoided big mistakes, he also has not really electrified the Pittsburgh offense, which even he seemed to admit on Thursday.
