We're looking to close out the week with a bang, and there's no better way to do that than to sprinkle some home run props on the MLB slate. Let's cash some tickets with our three favorite HR bets for Friday night.
Blue Jays at Rays, 6:50 p.m. ET
Guerrero is coming off a monster two-home run game on Thursday night, and he can keep the power momentum rolling in a solid matchup on Friday night. Tampa Bay Rays left Tyler Alexander ranks in the eighth percentile in barrel rate this season and has given up six home runs over his last four starts. Alexander's most used pitch is his cutter, and it just happens to be the pitch opposing hitters have been crushing the most all year. That's great news for Guerrero, who's batting .432 and slugging .818 with a 63.6 percent hard-hit rate against cutters this season.
Braves at Marlins, 7:10 p.m. ET
Valente Bellozo is one of our favorite pitchers to fade with home run props. The Miami Marlins right-hander ranks in the eighth percentile in barrel rate partly because he throws his ineffective 4-seam fastball 38.3 percent of the time. That's right up Soler's alley, as he's batting .305 with a .648 xSLG and a 53.5 percent hard-hit rate against 4-seamers this year. Soler is also swinging the bat well with a .359 batting average and a .744 slugging percentage over the last 15 days.
Angels at Astros, 8:10 p.m. ET
We couldn't ask for a better setup with a home run prop. Altuve is absolutely on fire against left-handed pitching, as he's batting .600 and slugging .867 with a 50.0 percent fly-ball rate against southpaws this month. He's quite familiar with Los Angeles Angels left Tyler Anderson, too. In 25 career plate appearances against Anderson, Altuve is batting .391 and slugging .565 with a home run. This is an easy one to bet.
