Sports world reacts to Caitlin Clark's WNBA Rookie of the Year win

Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is the WNBA's Rookie of the Year, and the numbers speak for themselves.

The Fever took her No. 1 overall and she more than lived up to the hype. She averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game, breaking records in the process.

Clark is undoubtedly a superstar and the sports world as a whole reacted to her first major WNBA award.

Clark was the fastest rookie in WNBA history to record 100 points and 50 assists. She did so in eight games. She recorded 200-plus points and 50-plus assists in 12 games. And she notched 200-plus points, 75-plus rebounds and 75-plus assists in 15 games. All WNBA rookie records, per David Suggs of The Sporting News.

She led the league in assists per game, three-pointers made per game and logged the most points and assists by a WNBA rookie ever.

She's truly a phenom.
