The Philadelphia Eagles sure did miss star wide receiver DeVonta Smith.
Smith missed one game after suffering a concussion in a 15-12 Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints. Philadelphia's offense sputtered without him in a 33-16 Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With Smith back in the lineup, the Eagles (3-2) looked much more explosive against the Cleveland Browns (1-5).
On a 1st-and-10 play in the fourth quarter, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts tossed a pass to Smith on a crossing route. He took it to the house for a 45-yard touchdown and gave the Eagles a 20-13 lead late in the fourth quarter.

Smith's big play helped the Eagles secure a 20-16 win over the Browns. The fourth-year wideout finished with three receptions for 64 yards and one TD catch.
Philadelphia needed the victory to regain momentum and keep up with the Washington Commanders (4-2) in a tight NFC East race. As of Sunday, ESPN's Football Power Index gives the Eagles the second-best chance (28.7 percent) to win the division.
