Three reasons why this week's 'WWE Friday Night SmackDown' is must-see TV

WWE has been on fire this year. Not only are its premium live events putting on five-star matches, but its weekly television shows have included a combination of entertaining matches and great developments in major and minor storylines. (Some wrestlers, Seth Rollins for example, are involved in many storylines at once.)

The Oct. 11 episode of "Friday Night SmackDown" was no exception. There were several must-watch matches on the show as well as a tease for a highly anticipated debuting tag team. Additionally, the episode was filthy rich in storyline development that will shape how things play out in the months to come. This all makes every single episode of "SmackDown" must-see TV.

Let's look at three reasons why wrestling fans must not miss this week's episode.

Motor City Machine Guns, welcome to WWE

After weeks of cryptic teases, one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling will make its long-awaited WWE debut next week. Say hello to Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns. Having spent most of their careers in the indie's and TNA, Shelly and Sabin coming to WWE is long overdue. For those unfamiliar, Alex Shelly is professional wrestling. A veteran of over 20 years and former TNA world champion, he is a true master of his craft in the ring. Watching him and Sabin wrestle some of the best tag teams in the world on a weekly basis is a win for all wrestling fans.

What is next for Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton?

Kevin Owens blasted Cody Rhodes in the face and attacked him in the parking lot following "Bad Blood" a few weeks ago. Owens, feeling betrayed by Rhodes for teaming with longtime nemesis Roman Reigns, lost his temper again on "SmackDown," attacking his months-long tag-team partner Randy Orton in the chaos. K.O has now attacked both of his long-time adversaries in the last two weeks.

Who is in the wrong and who is in the right between Rhodes and Owens? It's a hotly debated question among fans online, but there's a more interesting angle: Where does Orton actually stand after getting assaulted by Owens? Orton told Cody that "he had no issues with Cody's partnership with Reigns as long as it didn't become a problem," and it seems like it has now become a problem for Orton and Owens alike.

Will anyone help Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso? And who could it be?

Following his long-awaited return at "Bad Blood," Jimmy Uso declared that he still acknowledges Reigns as his Tribal Chief. ... But he also acknowledged that he is the only one left. After his close match against Solo Sikoa on "SmackDown," Solo got the win and Uso faced a hellacious attack from The Bloodline. That was until Reigns came to his aid, but it was not enough. Reigns and Uso both got beaten down by the entire Bloodline, and Uso's words to end the show subsequently sum up the situation "We need help."

Fans' speculations have begun to run wild as to who they think this help could possibly be. Maybe original Bloodline members Jey Uso and (Honorary Uce) Sami Zayn?
