Breece Hall smashed his longest rush prop on Monday night to cash our Look of the Day, bringing us to 11-4 in our last 15 picks. Let's keep on rolling with our favorite bet for Game 2 of the ALCS.
The Cleveland Guardians are taking on the New York Yankees in Game 2 of the ALCS, and we're looking for Ramirez to have a big day at the plate.
Ramirez isn't having a great postseason thus far. He's just 3-20 (.150) through six playoff games, but he does have three games with an RBI and a run scored. The star third baseman led the Guardians in hits (173), runs (114) and RBIs (118) in the regular season, so we think this line has drifted too far based on his start to the playoffs.
Ramirez is also facing a familiar foe in Gerrit Cole. In 42 career plate appearances against Cole, Ramirez is batting .353 and slugging .677 with two home runs, three doubles and seven walks. Cole gave up 13 hits and two walks in two starts against the Kansas City Royals in the ALDS, so he was lucky to give up only four earned runs in his 12.0 innings of work.
Cole isn't dominating right now, and Ramirez feels comfortable in this matchup. This prop shouldn't be plus money.
