After six weeks of the season, most NFL teams know whether they'll be buyers or sellers before the trade deadline.
Here's one move each team in the AFC North should make before the Nov. 5 trade deadline.
Baltimore Ravens | Acquire Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins
The Ravens (4-2) were reportedly one of several teams to inquire about star wide receiver Davante Adams, who has since been traded to the New York Jets.
Baltimore was smart to do its homework on Adams since it has a clear drop off at wide receiver after Zay Flowers. Wide receivers not named Flowers have combined for just 26 catches for 418 yards and two touchdowns this season.
That is likely a product of having a run-first mindset, but the Ravens could use the 6-foot-1, 218-pound Hopkins as an asset in their attack.
The 32-year-old is not the same player he used to be with just 14 catches for 175 yards and a touchdown on the year, but he would instantly upgrade Baltimore receiving corps and give it another big-bodied playmaker.
Cincinnati Bengals | Acquire Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Calais Campbell
The Bengals are still fighting their way out of the 2-4 hole they dug themselves into to start the season, but as long as they have quarterback Joe Burrow, they can contend for a Super Bowl.
That's why Cincinnati should look to strengthen its defense, which has played a large role in the team's slow start.
Through the first six weeks, the Bengals are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game (146) in the league.
The massive 6-foot-8, 307-pound Campbell can help them plug up those running lanes. He has also proven to still be able to get after the quarterback with two sacks on the year.
Campbell may be 38, but he could provide some much-needed leadership and experience to Cincinnati's struggling defense. It may be enough to help the team turn its season around.
Cleveland Browns | Trade edge-rusher Za'Darius Smith
The Browns (1-5) have already been sellers, trading five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills, but that shouldn't be their last move.
Cleveland is closer to having the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft than making the playoffs. So its focus should be on planning for the future and obtaining draft capital.
There are two positions that teams usually look to upgrade this time of year: Wide receiver and edge rusher. Since the Browns already dealt their No. 1 wide receiver, that leaves Smith as the next most likely trade option.
Cleveland signed Smith to a two-year extension in the offseason, but he is now 32 and on a team that is unlikely to contend this year.
He could be the pass rusher several teams are looking for with 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble since 2023.
Pittsburgh Steelers | Acquire New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams
The Steelers (4-2) have been looking for a No. 2 wide receiver since trading Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers in March.
Since then, Pittsburgh has struck out on several playmakers, such as San Francisco 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk, Adams and even Williams, among others.
The Steelers showed interest in Williams this offseason as he was supposed to visit Pittsburgh in March. However, he never made it after signing with the Jets.
He may just end up a Steeler anyway since New York is reportedly willing to trade Williams after acquiring Adams.
Williams, 30, hasn't been the same player since tearing his ACL in Week 3 of last season. In six games he has just 10 catches for 145 yards, but that would still rank second among Pittsburgh's wide receivers, which proves just how desperate the team is with options running out.
