In 2023, the Philadelphia Phillies put up an impressive fight in the NL East, where they came in second place and later defeated the division-winning Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. They even came close to making the World Series but were eventually eliminated by the Arizona Diamondbacks in a seven-game NLCS.

This year, the Phils are back and hoping to prove that they have what it takes to make it to the postseason again. With plenty of returning talent, including Bryce Harper, Trea Turner and last year’s Golden Glove winner Zach Wheeler, it looks like another exciting season ahead for the team and its fans. Below, we’ll cover the best ways to watch Phillies baseball this season.

What channels are Philadelphia Phillies games on this season?

If you’re tuning in from the City of Brotherly Love, you can catch most Phillies games on NBC Sports Philadelphia, the area’s regional sports network (RSN). However, select games will air on NBC 10, the city’s NBC affiliate. The team also has some nationally televised games this year, which will appear on ESPN, Fox, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), MLB Network or TBS.

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on Fubo

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 190+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

The sports-centric streaming platform Fubo is one of the best options for Phillies fans. It’s one of the few services that carries NBC Sports Philadelphia, the channel that broadcasts the majority of Phillies games in the Philadelphia TV market. On top of that, each of Fubo’s three plans (Pro, Elite and Premier) includes ESPN, Fox, FS1 and NBC. The two higher-tier plans also come with MLB Network.

For Phillies supporters, the main downside of Fubo is that it doesn’t carry TBS. However, the Phillies only have one regular season game scheduled on that network this season — and that game will also air on NBC Sports Philadelphia for in-market fans. With Fubo, you’ll also get access to other sports channels (like beIN SPORTS, NFL Network and TUDN) and 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage.

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on DIRECTV STREAM

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 90+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

With DIRECTV STREAM, you can watch certain Phillies games and a mix of other sports, news and entertainment content. There are four DIRECTV STREAM plans to choose from (Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate and Premier), each of which comes with unlimited DVR and all local channels (including Fox and NBC), ESPN, FS1 and TBS.

If you’d like to tune into MLB Network, you’ll need a Choice plan or higher. Otherwise, you can bundle an Entertainment plan with the DIRECTV STREAM Sports Pack, which also comes with the MLB Strike Zone channel and a handful of other sports networks. However, DIRECTV STREAM doesn’t carry NBC Sports Philadelphia, so you won’t be able to watch the majority of Phillies games with this service.

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on Hulu + Live TV

  • Pricing begins at $76.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Hulu + Live TV is another top pick for Philadelphia baseball fans. Like Fubo, this platform includes NBC Sports Philadelphia in all of its live TV plans. Its ad-free and ad-supported plans also include ESPN, Fox, FS1, MLB Network, and TBS, giving you all the channels you need to stream Phillies games this season.

In addition to these networks, Hulu + Live TV plans include a variety of other sports channels, such as CBS Sports Network, ESPNEWS, Fox Sports 2 (FS2) and NFL Network. As a subscriber, you can use the platform’s unlimited DVR feature to record and rewatch games when it’s convenient for you. Plus, your Hulu + Live TV plan gives you access to the Disney Bundle, which includes ESPN Plus, Disney Plus and Hulu’s on-demand library of original TV shows and movies.

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on Sling TV

  • Pricing begins at $40.00/mo
  • 31+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

Popular with budget-conscious cord-cutters, Sling TV has three plans: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange & Blue. Sling TV plans offer some of the channels you need to watch Phillies baseball. For example, Sling Orange has ESPN and TBS. Meanwhile, Sling Blue subscribers in the Philadelphia area will receive NBC, Fox, FS1 and TBS. Sling Orange & Blue comes with all of these channels. You can bundle any Sling TV plan with the Sports Extra add-on to get MLB Network.

Depending on your plan, you’ll also get other sports channels, such as ESPN2, MotorTrend and NFL Network. However, when compared to its competitors, Sling TV has a couple of downsides. For one, it doesn’t carry NBC Sports Philadelphia in any of its packages. Also, its plans only include 50 hours of cloud DVR (but you can upgrade to 200 hours if you’d like).

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on YouTube TV

  • Pricing begins at $72.99/mo
  • 100+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

YouTube TV is another streaming service worth considering if you’re a Phillies fan. Its base plan offers all of the major local channels (including Fox and NBC), as well as ESPN, FS1, TBS and NBC Sports Philadelphia. However, MLB Network is not available through YouTube TV.

When you sign up for YouTube TV, you’ll gain access to several other sports channels, including NBA TV and NFL Network. For more sports content, you can bundle your plan with the Sports Plus Add-On, which comes with networks such as FanDuel TV, Fox Soccer Plus and VSiN. YouTube TV plans also have unlimited DVR space, giving you the freedom to replay games and other programs on your own time.

How to watch the Philadelphia Phillies on Apple TV+

  • New Apple Originals streaming every month
  • Compatible with most streaming devices
  • Includes select MLB and MLS games

This season, the Phillies will play at least two games on “Friday Night Baseball,” which is exclusively available through Apple TV+. The first of these games will take place on May 3, when the team welcomes the San Francisco Giants to Citizens Bank Park. Then, on June 21, the Phils will host the Arizona Diamondbacks in a rematch of last year’s NLCS. With an Apple TV+ subscription, you can tune into these MLB games and watch original content on Apple TV+.

How to watch Philadelphia Phillies out-of-market games with MLB TV

Outside of Philadelphia, you can’t watch the Phillies on NBC Sports Philadelphia. Fortunately, though, you can purchase an MLB.TV subscription to get access to every out-of-market Phillies game. For even more live and on-demand MLB content, you can upgrade your subscription to stream every out-of-market game from around the league. You can sign up for MLB.TV on the MLB’s website or through select streaming platforms, including Fubo.
