Terry Francona was introduced as the next manager of the Cincinnati Reds on Monday at Great American Ballpark.

He went on the Dan Patrick Show to discuss his decision to come out of retirement to become the manager of the Reds.

There is no denying Francona still has the competitive spirit. In his interview with Patrick, he mentioned how one of his favorite things is getting in his uniform and figuring out how to "beat someone's ass."

"I don't think I am ever going to have perspective at this age," Francona said. "Losses kill me and I don't think that's ever going to change."

Francona hates losing and Reds fans are tired of losing. It's a match made in heaven.
