The pressure is on for the Milwaukee Bucks to step up and build a strong enough team that would help Giannis Antetokounmpo reach his second NBA Finals. The fact that the eight-time All-Star openly talks about the possibility of getting traded away from the Fiserv Forum is a serious warning the Bucks front office should take seriously.
While it doesn’t help that the Bucks failed to bring over big-name players who can instantly improve the team, the training camp they got under Doc Rivers should allow the squad to perform better in a Central Division where the Indiana Pacers are their only real rivals.
While the regular season opener is still a week away, it doesn’t hurt for the front office to make roster moves that will allow them to be as competitive as possible. In the hopes of getting a more rounded roster, they are reportedly tapping into a former Miami Heat player.
The Milwaukee Bucks badly need to have depth in the forward position as Khris Middleton‘s health is not assured at this stage of his career. Justise Winslow, a former Miami Heat player who played for multiple NBA franchises, was offered an Exhibit 10 contract, as reported by ESPN’s Jamal Collier.
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Justice Winslow to an exhibit 10 contract, sources told ESPN.

Hoops Rumors’ Rory Maher wrote about Winslow’s recent career and what he can potentially bring to the table:
Winslow’s 2023/24 debut was delayed due to ankle surgery. He spent most of last season with the Raptors 905, Toronto’s G League affiliate, averaging 15.1 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 2.6 APG, 1.6 SPG and 1.0 BPG on .476/.295/.667 shooting in 22 regular season contests with the NBAGL club (27.0 MPG).
Winslow may only be a drop in the Bucks’ attempts to placate their franchise centerpiece, but Rivers and the rest of the Bucks’ coaching staff need all the help they can get to convince him to retire a Buck.
Damian Lillard will be a key component to whether Giannis decides to demand a trade. He knows that his performance last season leaves a lot to be desired, and a better season might be what keeps the Greek Freak in Wisconsin.
Of course, the rest of the team also needs to step up. If the roster failed to provide the kind of support Giannis needs, they may be blindsided by a trade request in the middle of the season.
