Utah Hockey Club sparks controversy with 'one-goal view' seats

Last night, the Utah Hockey Club had its first season opener and home opener in Franchise history as they took on the Chicago Blackhawks, and won.

Overall, it was an amazing game for Utah HC as they scored first and even got a goal from their new captain Clayton Keller. There was a whole lot of fanfare at the game, however, there were some fans who could only see one net. These tickets are actually being marketed as 'one-goal view' seats, which is very honest, to say the least.

These tickets are cheaper and with the cheap concession prices at these Utah HC games, there is no doubt that fans are getting an interesting value proposition here. Having said that, there are some fans who believe that this is absolutely outrageous. One fan even made the argument that Utah's NHL franchise was rushed too soon.

'Why does it seem like everything to get e team in Utah was rushed, from not having the name of the team, to the stadium just being very odd, it was a little embarrassing for the NHL IMO, I'm excited for the team but the expansion needs to stop here, there's to many clubs!!'

If there is one thing for certain right now, it is that the Utah Hockey Club is going to have to seriously consider a new arena entirely. Massive renovations are on the way but only time will tell whether or not they pan out.
