The 'No. 3 NFL draft pick' quiz

After upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, the New England Patriots have lost four straight games and head coach Jerod Mayo has decided to make a quarterback change . Drake Maye, the No. 3 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, will make his first career start on Sunday against the 4-1 Houston Texans. Maye started 26 games in college at North Carolina and was a threat with both his arm and legs, throwing for 7,929 yards and 62 touchdowns while adding another 1,147 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground over two seasons. The 22 year old has his work cut out for him, as the Patriots offensive line has allowed the highest percentage of pressures on the quarterback this season while the Texans are tied for eighth in sacks in the NFL. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Maye will become the fourth rookie quarterback to start an NFL game this Sunday, joining Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix. With that being said, can you name every player selected third overall in the NFL draft since 2000?
